Ich wurde von vielen Menschen aufmerksam gemacht, dass die Heiligen-Figuren und ebenso das Brückengeländer mit einem unansehnlichen Grauschleier bedeckt sind. Dies ist uns schon einige Zeit bekannt und leider verschlechtert sich die Oberfläche zusehends. Wir sind bereits mit der verantwortlichen Restauratorin in Kontakt. Anfang Oktober findet ein Lokalaugenschein mit den beteiligten Firmen und dem Bundesdenkmalamt statt, um die Ursache der Farbveränderung zu klären und über eine bestmögliche Behebung des Schadens zu beraten.
