Besser als für die Kampfmannschaft, die eine 0:2 Heimniederlage gegen den Tabellenletzten Wolfsbach hinnehmen musste,  lief es an diesem Wochenende für die jüngsten ASKÖ-Teams. Die U8 wurde beim Meisterschaftsturnier in Göstling Erster und holte nach einem 0:0 gegen Gresten zwei knappe 1:0-Siege gegen Purgstall und Göstling. Die U11 gewann in der THWM-Arena 6:2 gegen Kematen.

In die Höhensteinstube lud Tennisvereinsobfrau Maria Seis zur Jahreshauptversammlung. Sie berichtete gemeinsam mit ihren Vorstandskollegen über die ereignisreiche Saison 2017, die sportlichen Erfolge und den erfreulichen Kassastand. Nach einer kurzen Vorschau auf die geplanten Veranstaltungen für die bereits laufende Saison und die Ehrung von Michael Hödl als erfolgreichsten Ranglistenspieler ließ Franz Atzmüller in gewohnter Weise das vergangene Jahr mittels PowerPoint Präsentation passieren.
