Zum Projekt der Wildbach- und Lawinenverbauung „Verlegung des Seereithbaches im Bereich Dr. Carl Kupelwieser-Promenade“ fand heute eine wasser-, naturschutz- und forstrechtliche Verhandlung statt. Bei Umsetzung der geplanten Maßnahmen kommt es zu einer deutlichen Aufwertung des Gerinneabschnittes in ökologischer Hinsicht und werden dadurch mehrere Grundstücke aus dem Bereich „Gelbe Linie“ des Gefahrenzonenplanes herausfallen. Die Hochwassersicherheit wird deutlich verbessert und die Verklausungsgefahr vermindert. Der Baubeginn ist für Ende April geplant. Die Arbeiten sollen bis Ende Juni abgeschlossen sein.
