Citizen Science und Gesunde Gemeinde

Hummeln beobachten, Wasserproben nehmen oder Daten unter Anleitung von Wissenschaftlern auswerten – das und noch mehr wird bei Citizen Science Projekten von Amateuren erledigt, die damit Forschern zuarbeiten. Diese Form der Wissenschaft ist vor allem im angelsächsischen Raum modern und wird nun auch in Europa vermehrt durchgeführt. Der WasserCluster Lunz und die Arbeitsgruppe für Citizen Science der Universität für Bodenkultur luden am 18. und 19. Februar zur österreichischen Citizen Science Konferenz nach Lunz. Im Forschungszentrum am See stellen Experten und Hobby-Forscher ihre Projekte vor und diskutieren über die Zukunft dieser Arbeitsmethode.

Im Zellerhof gaben heute Grete Enöckl und Dr. Ursula Barth einen Überblick über die vielfältigen Aktivitäten im Rahmen der „Gesunden Gemeinde“ des abgelaufenen Jahres. Auch das Programm für dieses Jahr enthält wieder viele interessante Angebote. Herzlichen Dank für eure Aktivitäten.
